Hardcore or Normal?

What game difficulty would you guys like to use? We will be playing on Superstar for sure, it's just a matter of deciding hardcore or normal.

I'd be all for hardcore settings if we could make the period length longer.
Hardcore is great, but it's definitely harder to set up scoring chances, and it seems like that setting leads to a noticeable decrease in shot totals and overall offense.
Though my vote is for normal if period length stays the same.
